I had the privilege of doing another wedding gig this month. It turned out pretty good I thought. It sure is a lot of work though. No wonder professional photographers charge as much as they do.
Meet Lacy and Doug!
Congratulations you two!

September 13th 2013 -Flooding in Colorado
It was just a couple months ago that we weren't allowed to go home all day because of a forest fire just up the road from the house. That was a little bit frightening. Now heavy rains and the little stream Little cub Creak, that runs through our yard is kissing the bottom of the bridge. I actually took our one of our food bridges. Hmmm..... Love living in the mountains but long winters, forest fires, floods?
This foot bridge.....
There used to be a nice little park here.

September 6th 2013 - Estes Park
There is an Irish Festival that takes place in Estes Park, Colorado every year. This year we took the RV up there to spend a few days. What fun that was. Irish dancing is kind of cool. Takes a lot of energy. More energy than I have, that's for sure.
Pretty Fancy outfits too.

August 31 2013 - Ouray, Colorado
Typically I like to drive the Sammi when I am exploring. I don't get to always take it along.
My son-in-law Scott can't seem to pass up a tall mountain without climbing to the top of it.
He had one last Colorado 14er to climb before he could say he did them all. I have no idea which mountain it was but we accompanied them to Ouray, Colorado for the weekend where he did what he had to do.
I have to go back to this place with the Sammi some day. Lots of beautiful places to see here and I understand lots of great trails to ride.

August 25, 2013 - There are a lot of reasons to live where we do
We plant a garden at the house but at 8900 feet it takes a pretty hearty plant to survive. Mostly we just let the ones that grow naturally here do their thing.
