It was May or June of 2011 that I happened upon a questionable deal on an old 1987 Suzuki Samurai that looked like it had been parked in the same spot for years. The soft top was weathered and full of holes and it was obvious that critters had nested in it for at least one winter. It wasn't running but I decided to gamble $400 on it, purchased it and towed it home.
I'm glad I took the gamble.
A few dollars on a good tune-up, some new jets for the carburetor and a new soft-top for it and the journey began...
